Your "frog" is the task you most want to avoid, usually the one that matters most. Eat the frog means doing it first, before email, news, or anything easy. Everything after feels lighter, because the day cannot get worse than it already started.
1Name the frog tonight
Decide tomorrow’s frog this evening. Mornings are for doing, not deciding.
2Give it the first 90 minutes
No inbox, no feeds, no "quick checks". The frog gets your freshest brain or it gets nothing.
3Define done before you start
"Work on the report" is not a frog. "Send the draft to Ana" is. Vague frogs escape.
If it is your job to eat a frog, it is best to do it first thing in the morning.
Stop putting it off: one task, 25 focused minutes, a short break, then repeat.
A few tasks drive most of your results: find that 20% and give it your best hours.
